Panasonic ASTROVISION is the leader in large LED displays over the last quarter of a century with a vast array of high profile installations including its Official Worldwide Olympic Partnership previously featuring at the 2008 Games and future plans for an instillation for the London 2012 Games.
ASTROVISION large LED displays incorporate enhanced LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology with a wider viewing angle and excellent colour reproduction. Each screen consists of multiple square LED units that are snapped into place on a metal latticework frame. Each unit contains a layer of LEDs, many times brighter than a home TV, in a grid of red, blue and green.
The fact that ASTROVISION has been used for the Olympic Games since the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 is a true testimonial to its high technological capability and reliability.
